A Fun Way to
Give Thanks

It is always important to show someone how much you appreciate them. The best way to tell someone that you appreciate them is simply by telling them Thanks. However, why not show them how grateful you are by making them a yummy treat.

One day a friend told me about how she received chocolate covered fortune cookies as a birthday gift from a co-worker. I must admit that at first, that sounded very strange to me, but after trying one I fell in love. I mean anything dipped in chocolate is bound to taste amazing. Wouldn't you agree? Well, after brainstorming for a few days of what I wanted to make for my ex-coworkers as a good-bye gift, I realized fortune cookies dipped in chocolate would be the perfect way to say thank you. It's something inexpensive, and easy to make, that can satisfy multiple people at once. But, most of all its fun! Not only are they fun to make, but fun to eat! The excitement of finding out what your secret fortune will be makes it also an interactive game for the office to interact. So, next time your planning to tell someone Thanks, show them by making them a little something instead.

What you need
to get started:

6 Simple Steps to Follow:

1.Before we begin, unwrap all your fortune cookies and pick the ones that do not have cracks or broken pieces. Make sure you have counted at least four per person you are giving one to, so if you are giving to 3 people you want to make 12. Now you can start by placing your chocolate in small microwavable bowls. Proceed in melting your chocolate by following the instructions on the packaging.

2.Begin dipping your cookies carefully in the chocolate and lay them preferably on a cooling rack so that the chocolate drips to the botoom of the pan. Otherwise, lay them on a flat baking pan. (Note: You may want to use a spoon to help your cover your cookie with chocolate, if your dipping bowl is not deep enough for dipping your fortune cookies)

3.Store the fortune cookies in the refrigerator for about 10 to 15 minutes. Check to make sure your chocolate has harden, if not keep them refrigerated longer. (Note: You can leave them in the refrigerator for as long as you like, this process will not harm your cookies in any way. Just to be safe, I would leave them to cool over night and finish the following day.)
